Multi-Manager

It is a SNMP-based Network Manager on Internet for
MultiTech’s Remote Access Servers (RAS). It is a
multi-threaded 32-bit application developed for Windows
NT/95/98 using Visual C++ 4.2 and can be used to
manage up to hundred RASes. It has a FTP client, which
periodically downloads logs, analyses them and maintains a
database. It shows statistics, graphs and details. In addition
to the local user-interface; it has a Web server, which facilitates
multiple remote administrators to call in using a Java-enabled
Internet Browser. Java user-interface was developed using
Symantec Visual Café version 2.0. A unique feature of this
product development was that it was developed by six
entry-level engineers, under the leadership of Mr. Murthy, in
less than 10 months from conception to release. The shipped
product passed stringent tests in the
US
, and received many commendations from US product managers and customers
for its ease-of-use, stability, and neat looks.
